Toronto, Ontario, July 17, 2007. Designfusion and OneCAD Solutions announced a new joint venture. OneCAD has restructured it's business to focus on Design Services and Designfusion has acquired the Software sales and support division of OneCAD solutions. Both companies will work closely together to bring industry leading technology and design services to the Canadian marketplace. “We believe the alignment of our organizations in this way will enable us to provide a more focused and highly specialized range of services to the Solid Edge customer community and to the Manufacturing marketplace as a whole. With this acquisition Designfusion now has in excess of 1000 customers across Canada," said Kevin Johnstone President of the Designfusion.

The Designfusion team covers Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta from it’s offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Winnipeg. It has recently announced plans to open offices in Alberta and Quebec City to ensure strong local presence in the major manufacturing centres. OneCAD Solutions is a rapidly growing design services company specializing in serving the Solid Edge community. The joint venture will ensure that any level of design service requirements can be addressed by the OneCAD team.
